“majornelson As soon as my site is back (which will be soon) I’ll post an H3 update”
So, there you have it, hopefully it will be up soon.
Update 1: Assuming the test pass goes according to plan, the fix will come in the form of a Crackdown title update within the next three to six hours. [Starting at 10:00 Eastern PM]
My good friends over at 360voice never stop working, and this Coding Tuesday was no exception. They released a mobile version of 360voice. I will let them tell you the rest…
“This week we are launching a slimmed down, scaled back, mobile version of 360voice. A new link has been added to your blog in the Links & Community section. To access any mobile version use the url http://m.360voice.com/t/gamertag.”
Just in case you live under a rock, the Halo 3 Beta will open up to all gamers holding a copy of Crackdown at 5:00 AM (Editors Note - The press release says 5:00 PDT, however I believe that meant to say Eastern, since that is the normal launch time for Live material)
Also, if that wasn’t enough, Microsoft has announced the launch date for Halo 3, and for those thinking it will be at the end of the year, you couldn’t be more wrong. Halo 3 will be launching on September 25th, 2007.
Now that you know… which version will you be preordering?
1st - Worms Day is this Wednesday. No idea what it means, but its on the xbox.com calender, and the developers seem pretty excited. (Sadly Halo 3 Beta starts that day)
2nd - The DLC is on its way - according to Spadge,
“We’ll find out in the next few days when it can go live, the first wave of DLC now has a date (it’s this month) but I can’t say when. The Update will come before it.”
“Additionally, look out for news regarding the update next few days. We’re ready to go live, but there’s some final details to organise - but not much longer now. We will make a full announcement in due course, along with a full list of what the update solves etc.”
For the first time, players will have the freedom to define their character, story and style based on the choices they make, the paths they choose and the style of skating they use on the proving grounds from Philadelphia and Baltimore to Washington, D.C.
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground features deeper customization than ever before, including a Video Editor with full-featured editing tools and visual effects for creating “epic skate videos,” and a fully customizable online Skate Lounge where players can skate with friends in the ultimate pad. In addition, players will have the freedom to skate from single player to online seamlessly, as well as utilize new gameplay mechanics such as skateable terrain altering and building, and Bowl Carving, delivering the most empowered skating experience ever. Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground also features even more Nail the Trick™ moves such as Nail the Grab and Nail the Manual intensifying the thrill of pulling off big tricks.
“Tony Hawk’s Proving Grounddrops players into the skateboarding world like never before,” said Joel Jewett, president of Neversoft. “This is the largest, deepest and most compelling Tony Hawk game ever. You can skate the best lines, define your own style and produce your own videos. You can even take it further by tricking out your own Skate Lounge, where you can hang out and skate with others online. Proving Ground will throw you so deep into the lifestyle of skateboarding that you won’t be able to get out. Hands down, it’s the most exciting Tony Hawk title yet.”
Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground is in development by Neversoft for the Xbox 360™ video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system, Wii™ home video game system, PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, and Nintendo DS™. The game is not yet rated by the ESRB and is scheduled for release later this year.

I have cut down on my 360 postings lately, since I may be moving them to x360a.org. Still working on the details, whether I will be on the site in the future, and if so, what jobs I will be carrying out. I guess the posts on the homepage is more like a test. I personally would rather see a Wordpress implementation, on a seperate page. We will see what happens. Nothing is final btw, as you can see later in this post, I am a little annoyed this week with a few procedures and limitations…
Good News of the Week:
Mother’s Day = Success.
Have Sad Panda 3, I mean Spiderman 3 - 50 percent completed.
Met some more contacts which may be useful in the future.
Found more achievements for x360a.org, the other sites still don’t have them.
Working on more exclusive achievements for the upcoming week.
Got some sites to FINALLY link to x360a for news stories, like Kotaku for a change. Now to work on the other sites like GamerTagRadio, and the others. If you reveal screen shots and cover arts, why not link to us for achievements?
Bad News of the Week:
Halo 3 Event - wasn’t able to attend.
Halo 3 Beta Key - wasn’t able to obtain, despite everyone and there mother on my Friends List playing it.
360FriendSpot Awards - we weren’t nominated, although they had a good line up of sites. Either way, as Press, I take it personal in a way.
My event for a free copy of Crackdown was never posted on x360a.org. Since its technically my copy, unsure of what I will be doing with it since they are limiting my ability to play PR.
Still no post for XBLRadio’s Games for GI’s. Its a good drive, and it should get some homepage spotlight on the site. I feel even more like a useless duck, quack quack.
The Crackdown DLC was released, and with that more achievements including street racing achievements are now available to earn. Having trouble and need a helping hand? Well my good friend L3giOn from x360a.org posted a workaround for all those having trouble…
It involves using your pistol to take out all the other vehicles. I can’t make it any simplier then he did actually…
